Spanish speaking Payroll Specialist

An experienced Spanish-speaking Payroll Specialist is sought to become part of a fast-growing European IT consultancy firm. You will be responsible for the entire payroll process and working closely with the Payroll Manager to internalise the payroll production. This role is based in Barcelona and the company operates on a hybrid model, with three days working from the office and two days working from home.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing the entire Payroll process from employee entry to exit
• Be the expert in A3 payroll software with the aim of internalising the payroll process over the coming year
• Checking advance payments and variables and compliance with legislation
• Collaborate with other international payroll teams
• Liaising with Finance and HR department and producing post-payroll reports for various departments
• Receiving continuous training on labour legislation and creating internal user training manuals for payroll software (A3)

About you:

The ideal candidate for the role would have at least 5 years‘ experience working on Spanish Payroll, with the addition of fluency in Spanish and English. Profile:

• Fluency in Spanish and English, written and spoken
• Minimum 5 years‘ experience working in internal payroll, with sound knowledge of payroll management
• Must have a degree in Labour Relations in Spain
• Must be an advanced user of A3 payroll software
• You have a comprehensive understanding of Spanish payroll regulations and social security system
• A team player, with a strong can-do attitude
