Our client is in the business of property access technology providing solutions and equipment such as intercoms and digital noticeboards. They’re on the look-out for a Dutch speaking Area Sales Manager to manage and expand the client base in the Netherlands. In this role you are responsible for business development and portfolio management by prospecting for potential clients and developing existing partnerships. Business travel is a big part of this job – you will be on the road visiting clients approximately 3 to 4 days a week.

About you:

You are experienced in business development and account management; you know how to approach clients, handle commercial communication and close the deal. You are target-driven and proactively thinking of ways to develop and aim even higher.

Your responsibility will include:

  • Lead generation and pipeline management. Ability to turn appointments into projects.
  • Collaboration with inside sales team to review opportunities and pipeline.
  • Manage Partner relations for installation and distribution to promote provided business solutions
  • Online / face-to-face meetings with potential clients to discuss business needs and offer suitable solutions.
  • Visiting clients on-site – Account management

Profile:

  • Fluent in Dutch and good command of English both written and spoken. French is an advantage.
  • 3 years of experience in sales, business development and customer relations. Commercial mindset and great communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license is a must!
  • Available for 40 hours per week

You will receive a car, smartphone, and laptop, and you will be included in the company insurance program. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to attend Group sales meetings twice a year in locations such as France, the UK, and Germany.
