Due to exciting business growth within our Amsterdam office, we are now looking for a full time Payroll Administrator to work alongside the recruitment team delivering support across functions such as payroll and general recruitment administration. You will be able to work on a hybrid basis. Ideally we are looking for someone with Dutch fluency and local knowledge of the Dutch labour market, due to the support needed for the temporary payroll which is operated on a weekly and monthly basis.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Assist with the coordination for payroll administration for Language Matters B.V which includes onboarding, requesting VOG certificates, checking right to work documentation and uploading all other essential payroll data on to the online portal of our payroll administration company
  • Cross checking timesheets with client reports on a regular basis to ensure high quality processing of payroll
  • Processing sensitive information to assist eligble candidates with their 30% facility application
  • Scanning and inputting candidate paperwork and ID on to database
  • Being a point of contact for payroll related enquiries from candidates
  • Screening CVs received by email and ensure that these are processed internally
  • Web advert management – uploading and removing web posts as required
  • Content writing and support with creating job advertisements for LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook etc. to improve online visibility and increase the number of candidate applications and client views.

Profile:

  • Fluency in Dutch and English
  • Previous experience in payroll, data entry or another administrative level role is essential
  • Knowledge on the Collectieve Arbeidsovereenkomst (CAO) / Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) is highly desirable
  • Previously processed data for Justis, Belastingdienst, UWV, StiPP, SFU or SPAWW would be advantageous
  • A certificate as a ‚Backofficeprofessional‘ from SEU or similar is desirable
  • Excellent eye for detail, numbers orientated and able to process large quantities of data smoothly
  • Good administrative skills and well organised
  • Strong IT skills, with Excel skills at least intermediate level
  • Able to communicate well together with other team members
