Our client, a private members‘ club that operates clubs, hotels, and venues around the world, is looking for a Dutch speaking Reservations agent to join them in their London office due to the rapid expansion of their team. In this role you will be providing an outstanding customer experience and will aim to resolve customers‘ queries at first point of contact.

The reservations agent will be responsible for delivering service excellence, via phone and email, to members in Dutch & English. This position would suit someone who is adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced role. You’ll be an enthusiastic and proactive first point of contact for membership and bedrooms enquiries (UK & Europe) via telephone and email. Responding in Dutch and English (where appropriate) in a timely manner. We are looking for a flexible and adaptable individual who is willing to work night and weekend shifts where necessary.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • effectively handle all incoming calls and email enquiries for room reservations for properties in the UK & EU
  • be commercially aware and able to offer recommendations on services
  • handle overdue payments and any cancellation requests, in compliance with the company’s terms and conditions
  • support other departments with administrative tasks, working with different teams across Europe

About you:

The ideal candidate will be a reliable, customer-oriented individual who has a positive can-do attitude with excellent Dutch language skills. For this role it is important that you are able to demonstrate enthusiasm and positivity to customers and can stay calm in challenging situations. You will be required to work from the London office on a daily basis where you will be part of a friendly, multilingual team. Profile:

  • Fluency in Dutch and English
  • At least 1 year experience in a customer facing role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong administrative skills
