Accounts Payable Specialist (Italian OR German speaker)

An Accounts Payable Specialist with fluent German OR Italian is needed for a global company based in Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist who is ready for a new challenging position with a wide international scope. The role would involve processing and controlling transactions for the department and it will be offering a hybrid working model, with 3 days working from the office and 2 days working from home.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up suppliers‘ accounts and responding to suppliers‘ queries
• Allocating suppliers‘ payments and direct debits against invoice
• Processing payments, monthly company credit card and expenses
• Other tasks as assigned

About you:
The ideal applicant will have strong analytical skills, solid experience in a similar role and ideally knowledge of Oracle R12. It is a great opportunity for someone with fluency in German OR Italian to join a forward-thinking organisation and expand their knowledge on an international scale.

Profile:

• Required to be fluent in German OR Italian and English, both written and spoken
• (Part-Qualified) accountant, CIMA, ACA or ACCA or equivalent is desirable
• Previous skills in accounting, ideally in an Accounts payable/Purchase Ledger role are essential
• Knowledge of Oracle R12 is highly desirable
• Advanced knowledge of Excel or ERP
• Hard worker and able to take full responsibility for Accountancy duties including Trial bookkeeping and management
